Your portfolio Repay margin debt
The broker always gets paid. Margin orders borrow automatically when cash runs out. You need 40% equity to open a position. Below 25% equity, your broker sells holdings until you reach 40%, charging an additional 1% liquidation fee. Debt accrues weekly interest. Sale proceeds repay debt first.
BEHIND CLOSED DOORS
Money opens doors. Power attracts attention. SELECT YOUR TARGET NEW YORK ATTORNEY GENERAL
At 60 heat, an inquiry can begin. At 85, a summons is certain at the next closing bell. A summons costs 8% of your fortune (at least $2,500) and freezes schemes and margin buying for three weeks. Quiet weeks reduce heat.

A NOTE FROM YOUR BROKER ×
Welcome to the Street. You have $25,000 and three years. Finish 1929 with $100,000 to make your name.
Read the Gazette. Headlines reflect expectations already largely priced into the market. New surprises may reinforce or reverse them.Choose a company and place an order. Buy or sell any whole number of shares. Fees are 0.4%, with a $2 minimum. Buy and sell fills include a small spread, size impact, and slippage. Estimates show the possible fill range; a limit order fills immediately at your price or better, or cancels without a fee.Work the tape. Each week has three sessions. Next session makes small quote changes without charging weekly interest or dividends. Sessions are finite; the market does not move while you wait. The main Next session button moves you through them one at a time. In the final session it becomes Close week. It stays at the top of the screen; the mobile bottom bar offers the same action.Answer the knock. Up to two offers may arrive each week. Read the terms, then accept or decline. Some deals resolve at later closes; all choices are logged. You can trade to raise cash before answering, and declining has no penalty. Refreshing does not change an offer or reroll its outcome.Ring the next bell. “Close week” settles prices, events, dividends, interest, and rivals. Each close opens a Gazette roundup of your results and the week ahead. Choose compact reports for a quicker review; alerts always remain visible. Return to trading to open the next chapter. Space performs the same next-session or close-week action when you are outside a form.Borrow carefully. Margin allows up to 2.5× exposure. Falling below 25% equity triggers a forced sale.Survive 1929. The October panic hits the whole market, with forced selling, wider execution costs, and an uncertain recovery. Speculative stocks suffer most; cash provides shelter. A relief rally is no guarantee that the decline is over.Become a baron. At $35,000, influence campaigns unlock. Rivals notice at $50,000. Schemes move stocks but attract government scrutiny. This is an alternate-history strategy game. Companies are from the era; quotes, outcomes, tycoons, enforcement penalties, and rules are simplified game mechanics. There is no SEC in this 1920s setting. Progress stays in this tab unless you choose “Save on this device.”
